Once I read the true story of a man who had no peace in his life. He went to many places to find peace but every time he came back worse than before. He was desperate and did not know what he should do to get peace. Finally some one told him about the Church of Satan and said, "if you go there and do what the priest says, you will receive peace." So this man went there. The priest asked him to sit in front of a statue of Satan and to do some rituals. Then he told him to cut one thumb of his hand and shed the blood on that statue. He did according to the word of the priest. But instead of getting peace, he was in terrible pain. When the priest saw that the man did not get peace, he asked him to cut another finger of his hand. Now he was in more pain. Weeping and screaming he ran out of that building in complete pain and distress.
At the corner of that street there was an evangelist who approached him and asked what happened. With tears the man told his sad story to him. The evangelist explained to him that, he did not need to sacrifice and shed blood in order to get peace but Jesus had already paid for the peace of our soul. Jesus had already shed His precious blood on the cross so that we could get peace. He also told him that when we invite Jesus in our heart, He comes in and cleanses us from all our sins and fills us with great peace. The man knelt down and accepted Jesus right then and there. He received unspeakable peace at that very moment.
Today also Jesus wants to fill you with divine peace. He said in John 16:33, "These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."
What type of peace Jesus wants to give us? He said in John 14:27, "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."
Philippians 4:7, "and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."
His Peace is beyond human understanding and it is so precious that this world cannot give such peace. People have sought peace in this world through various means but could not find true peace. True peace is not possible except through Jesus. Many have done so much of hard work, gone on pilgrimage after pilgrimage, tortured their bodies, walked bare foot and did what not to achieve true peace but their quest for peace remained unattainable.
But Jesus came to give us true peace and to bring us out of our sins. Are you ready to receive this peace in your life? You will never find this peace anywhere else. Jesus is the prince of peace and He would fill you with His great peace if you just come to Him, repent of your sins and ask Him for forgiveness. If you just invite Him in your heart. He will gladly come in and wash you with His precious blood and fill you with peace and joy unspeakable.

Bible again and again talks about the will of God that we prosper in everyway. Apostle John says in 3John 1:2, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers."
Once I heard about an evangelist who has a very big ministry. He told about his father and grandfather that they were poor and just worked in small farms to meet their daily needs. But one day his father got saved. When he was just 17 years old his father started to preach in his church. Though he had only one suite, he would go and preach every Sunday wearing the same suite. Slowly God started to bless him and his family.
He had to pass through a recession and too many jobs were lost in the country. But one night he saw a dream and in his dream he saw the diagram of a farm equipment. When he woke up, he made the drawing of that equipment, contacted some people who could manufacture it and make arrangements to sell it. Soon he became a wealthy person and his life dramatically changed.
I heard similar stories that had happened in the lives of those who walked in the ways of God. God showed them dreams or gave them ideas or showed them things which no other person knew about and their lives had turned around. Their poverty had gone. John D. Rockefeller a wealthy man in America in the last century believed in Jesus and wikipedia says about him, "Religion was a guiding force throughout his life, and Rockefeller believed it to be the source of his success. As he said, "God gave me money", and he did not apologize for it. He felt at ease and righteous following John Wesley’s dictum, "gain all you can, save all you can, and give all you can." It also says that, "From his very first paycheck, Rockefeller tithed ten percent of his earnings to his church."
Rockefeller, at the age of 86, penned the following words to sum up his life:
“I was early taught to work as well as play,
My life has been one long, happy holiday;
Full of work and full of play-
I dropped the worry on the way-
And God was good to me everyday.”
Yes, there is a God who wants to bless our lives and who wants to prosper us in all our ways, wants to fill us with great joy. If you come to Him, If you walk in His ways, He is ready to take care of your needs and bless your life.
