"Be glad then, you children of Zion, And rejoice in the LORD your God; For He has given you the former rain faithfully, And He will cause the rain to come down for you; The former rain, And the latter rain in the first month. The threshing floors shall be full of wheat, And the vats shall overflow with new wine and oil. So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, The crawling locust, The consuming locust, And the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you. You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, And praise the name of the LORD your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you; And My people shall never be put to shame. Then you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel: I am the LORD your God And there is no other. My people shall never be put to shame" (Joel 2:23-27).

Bible tells us that when we walk in the ways of God, He adds blessings in our lives. Joel 2:25 says, "So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, The crawling locust, The consuming locust, And the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you."

The bottom line is that God wants to restore everything that we have lost, the years which were wasted away, the life which was destroyed by four types of locusts and so on. Bible also tells us about two young men whose lives were wasted away in toil and hardship but how God restored to them their lost years. One is Joseph. When Joseph was about seventeen years old, he was sold as slave in a foreign country. Here this young man lost everything and came to a new country as a slave.

Years passed by without any hope. Though this young man loved the Lord and walked in His ways yet there was no sign of a good future or any hope of seeing his family again. But my friend, I want to introduce to you a mighty God who is always interested in restoring our lost years. And a day came when God brought him out of prison and made him to stand before the king of that country. In no time he became the most powerful person of that nation and the story unfolded in a very dramatic way that he could meet his long lost family. They all shed tears of joy. The years of pain, the years of suffering and those years of hopelessness were all forgotten in just one split moment. Joseph was thirty years old when he stood before Pharaoh, king of Egypt. You can see that how many years he had lost in trouble and turmoil. How many years he cried and yet he had to wait for at least seven more years to meet his family. But sure enough God miraculously restored his lost years and everything which was stolen from him. God can do the same thing for you.

We read about yet another young man whose name is David. He was also just sixteen years old when king Saul wanted to kill him and destroy his life. He had to flee for his life. Years passed by and it seemed as if there was no end of his wanderings and sufferings. But a day came when God fulfilled His promise and made him king over Israel. The same God saw the wanderings of David and visited him and restored to him all the lost years of his life can do the same for you. David was thirty years old when he began to reign. Again we can see that, how many years David had lost in wandering and in tears but there is a God who sees our tears and wanderings. The same God restored David's life and the same God can restore your life.

No matter how many years you have wasted in tears and in turmoil, no matter how many years you went through in terrible sufferings and pain yet there is a God who can restore your life and give you back whatever you have lost in your life, specially the years of your life which were wasted.

The prophet Joel declares the same thing that no matter in whatever ways the various types of terrible locusts like disasters that might have eaten up your life, God will restore back to you whatever is lost. Just give your life in the mighty hands of Jesus. He is ready to make your life new. He will take away the wanderings and wasted life from you and make it useful for Him.

Go Sin No More

By Sheela Isaac

Mat 18:11, "For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost."
Mat 9:12-13, "But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick. "But go and learn what this means: 'I desire mercy and not sacrifice.' For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance."

Bible says that Jesus came to save that which was lost. Jesus said, "I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance." According to Bible, who is a sinner? The Bible gives answers to the question. According to the Bible every human being who is ever born in this planet is a sinner. That's why the Bible says in Rom 3:10-11, As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understands, there is none that seeks after God. Further Rom 3:23 says, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"

No one is righteous in this world. That's why no one deserves heaven. We can't earn a place in heaven by our own, efforts, merits or good works because they are like filthy rags in the sight of God. It tells us how holy God is. He is zero tolerant towards sin. The Bible says about Jesus that, "He knew No SIN." He is so holy that we sinners can't stand before this holy God any time. We sin by our thoughts, words and deeds. So the question is who can be able to stand before God (Jesus) who is so holy when we are so sinful and filthy in His sight?

The good news is that Jesus came down into this world and died on our behalf and took our place and became a perfect substitute for us. I heard the story about a cow. There was a farmer who had a cow which loved eating green grass. When winter came the farmer could not get green grass and so instead he would put dry straw for this cow but this cow refused to eat it. The farmer was very upset didn't know what to do and how to feed this cow. One day he came up with a new idea. He got green goggles for the cow and when feeding time came he put the goggles on the cow and gave the same dry straw. When the cow looked through the glasses the dry straw looked like green grass and his cow ate it very happily. The same thing happens here when we accept Jesus as our Lord and savior and receive the forgiveness of sin. We don't become holy overnight but when God looks at us He sees the blood of Jesus on us and that's why He considers us holy and righteous. We read the incidence in the Old Testament how the Israelites escaped from the death angel by putting the blood of the lamb on their door posts. When the death angel passed through the land of Egypt, whoever's doorpost was found with the blood mark, the firstborn of those families were left alive while the death angel struck the firstborn in those houses where blood was not found on the doorpost. Death and destruction came in the houses of the Egyptians but none of the Israelites saw destruction. The same thing would happen at the end. Those who will be found marked with the blood of Jesus on their heart's doorpost those souls will find life and they will see eternal life and enter into heaven. But those who refuse to take the blood of Jesus for themselves will be lost forever eternally in hell fire. Good news is that you and I can escape hell by coming to Jesus and receiving the forgiveness of sin.

Jesus is so willing to forgive your sins no matter how grave or disgusting your sins are. In Mathew chapter 8 we read about the story of an adulterous woman who was brought before Jesus to see what He is going to do. In the Old Testament days the Jewish law permitted them to stone such women who were caught in sin of adultery. They knew that legally Jesus can't break those laws and can't let her go free. They wanted to test Jesus as well as to put a trap for Him. The religious leaders of Jesus' time where very much eager to accuse Him some way or other so that they can kill Him. When they brought this woman to Jesus,

John 8:3-5, "And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what do you say?"

The Bible says, Jesus stooped down and wrote something on the ground. John 8:6, "This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not." The question is what could Jesus have written there? I heard my brother speak in one message and the points he gave, I loved it. He said that Jesus was probably writing the sins of the people who were gathered there. Then the Bible says, Jesus said one thing to them which startled them all and they left the place one by one. What was the reply of Jesus for them?

John 8:7-11, "So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. "And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. "And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. "When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, “Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?” "She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn you: go, and sin no more."

Jesus told them, "He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her." But they all left because they were convicted of their sin. Jesus was probably writing their sins on dirt and they could not handle it because their secret sins were public now. Jesus clearly showed to the people who wanted to kill this woman that no one is sinless and that if that woman had to be punished by stoning to death, then all the others also deserved the same punishment. Jesus did not condemn her it did not mean that sin is allowed or He just ignored it. No! but Jesus said to her, "Neither do I condemn you: go, and sin no more." Jesus said, "Go and SIN NO MORE." This story tells us that no human being is sinless but God doesn't condone sin or ignore it. God is holy and God had made a way out for us to come out from our sin. Forgiveness is available for everybody through the holy and precious blood of Jesus. If you cry out to Jesus you can come out of your sin no matter how bad your sins are. No matter how deep you are fallen in the mud hole of sin you can still come out of it and go to heaven because the son of God Jesus had paid the full price for your redemption.

It could be possible that your situation is exactly like this adulterous woman. Do you think you lived in sin and you have no hope left now? It could be possible that you have ruined your life in sin. Have you gone from one relationship to another and had ruined your life and you don't have any peace now. Have you cheated your husband or wife and they don't know about your double life. Are you living in sin with your partner without taking marriage vows? It could be possible that you are a victim of such sin and you are emotionally and mentally drained. Are you living in homosexuality and nobody knows about it? Are you going with multiple partners and cheating others? Are you living in sexual sin? If you say yes to any of it I would like to pray for you and I would say that you still have hope. You can still come out of it and cleanse your life from all the filth. Jesus is ready to forgive and forget all your sin. If you cry out to Jesus and ask for forgiveness of your sin Jesus will definitely forgive you and give you life eternal.

Do you want to come out of your sins? Do you want to receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior? Do you want to lead a clean life here after? Do you want peace in your life? Do you want a place in heaven? If yes, please pray this prayer with me from the bottom of your heart.

Lord Jesus I am a sinner. I believe that you died for my sin. I believe that you can wipe away my sins from my life. Please forgive and forget my sins. Come into my heart. Cleanse my life with your precious blood and give me life eternal. Today onwards I would live for you and live a clean life. Thank you Lord for hearing this prayer and coming into my heart. I pray in Jesus name. Amen.

Now if you think you lived in any of the sins I mentioned above, you can come out of it and live a sin free life. I believe that the special anointing is here to set you free from any of the situations you are in or have gone through. I am going to pray for you and I do believe that you will see a great deliverance in your life. Let us pray.

Lord Jesus I bring this dear one's at your throne of grace. I break all the powers of darkness from these lives. Please set them free. Remove the bondages from their lives. I break the bondages from their lives in Jesus name. Be set free in Jesus name. I come against all the powers of darkness which is playing a roll in these dear one's lives. I rebuke satan and command it to loose them in Jesus name. You the powers of darkness loose these people in the name of Jesus. Spirit of adultery I rebuke you in Jesus name. Leave them and go to hell fire in Jesus name. Be free in Jesus name. Be free in Jesus name. Let those demons and addictions never return back in Jesus name.

Lord Jesus please deliver them from the hands of satan. Whoever is asking and crying for deliverance today please deliver them and set them free. We know your word says, whom son sets free they are free indeed. Thank you Lord for listening to this prayer and giving protection and deliverance to these people. We praise you Jesus. We pray in Jesus name. Amen.
