Philippians 4:4, "Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!"
Bible tells us to rejoice in the Lord always. Some times it is not possible for us to rejoice yet it is possible when we put our trust in Jesus. E. V. Hill a great man of God wrote in his book, "Victory In Jesus: Running The Race You Are Meant To Win" that depression, heartbreaks, troubles, tears and sighs would come but putting our trust in the Lord will help us to rejoice in the Lord." At times he said, how you can escape from depression when you wake up in the morning and people will call you and say, "Pastor, you do not know what we are going through, we have such and such problem etc..." But he writes in his book that, he himself went through many hardships yet God was faithful to carry him in all those troublesome situations. One day as a boy, he woke up and saw his father dead sitting on a rocking chair. The time of trouble for him and his mother started from that day. His mother was too young to get any federal aid. She had no job but in those troublesome times also God was faithful to them. He says, "If God spoke to you something, He is able to bring it to pass."
Moses took the Israelites through the wilderness and as they journeyed, they faced many troubles. Sometimes there was no water, sometimes there was no food, and sometimes their enemy was following them. All those things made them to murmur against God and by doing that they lost the blessings of God. Had they trusted in the mighty power of God and believed that the same God who brought them out of Egypt is faithful to take them to the Promised Land, then the story would have been different. But Caleb and Joshua trusted in God and they were spared from the wrath of God. They did not die in the wilderness but lived.
If we trust in the Lord fully, no matter whatever circumstances may come in our way, He will carry us and bring us out of those troubles. He will help us to run the race to victory. It is our choice whether to choose to rejoice in spite of problems or to become disappointed. It is true that sometimes our dreams may be dashed and we may feel very disappointed yet we can put our trust in the Lord. We can choose whatever we want but one thing is certain that murmuring or getting upset will not help us in any way. It will not change our circumstances. It will not turn things around but putting our trust in Jesus will sure do.
The journey of joy and victory starts when we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior. And He will lead us to eternal life if we continually trust in Him and walk in His ways.

God leads His children in a wonderful way. At times God reveals the plots and plans of the enemy through dreams and visions. And by doing that He protects His children from all harms and dangers.
Once I was sitting in a meeting and as I closed my eyes to pray, I saw a vision. In my vision I saw the entrance door and something blinking on the door. I was wondering what it could be. To me it looked like angels standing at the door. So I prayed why angels are standing at the door and why they are not coming in? A few moments later a big shiny chariot came in and stood right in front of me where I was sitting. A lady wearing something like ancient dress such as a long skirt with apron like thing in front of it and having a fabric bonnet on her head came out of that chariot. She started to distribute three vases with flowers to people in the meeting. She would go back to her chariot and bring more vases as needed.
I was wondering, who this lady could be? I prayed about it a couple of times, "Lord who is this lady? What is the meaning of this vision?" but I did not hear anything from God. After the meeting, I completely forgot about the vision. But in the evening I was watching Sid Roth's TV program called "It is supernatural" and I just remembered that I also saw a vision in the morning. I shared my vision to my family members. After hearing the vision my brother said, "Don't ever take anything from the devil..." and my sister said, "Since Bible does not talk about any lady angel it must be devil who brought the vases". Well, we prayed and went to bed. At mid night my brother got very sick and he was sitting as he could not sleep. My sister and I started praying for him. As we started to pray, my sister got a revelation that we should send back those three vases with flowers to the person who sent it and to rebuke the lady and send her back from where she came." We did it and my brother started to feel good and a few hours later he was feeling much better.
What the enemy had planned to harm us was foiled because of the revelation of God. Later on my sister said, "If you had not seen the vision, we might never have had any clue about the attack of the enemy."
Yes, there is our mighty God who wants to protect us from the attack of the enemy. He will show things to come as He said in His word John 16:13, "However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come."
