On the 11th of Sep. morning at around 8 O'clock I woke up with this news that the world trade center building are on fire. Almost three years back when I visited this beautiful building of world trade center I never thought that it could ever happen. How proud I felt when I went to the top of that building and when they said you are on the "top of the world". But how horrific and tragic the events turned out which took place on 11th Sep.2001 resulting in the leveling of these buildings to the ground. Both the 110 storied buildings collapsed within one and a half hours and thousands of people were buried alive under rubble. The question repeatedly comes in our mind, why? Why this should happen? Some wrote, "is it Armageddon or the end of the world?" People are looking for answers.
I do not see any other reason than that but the coming of Christ is very near even at the door. Jesus said in Mark 13:7-8, "But when you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be troubled; for such things must happen, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be earthquakes in various places, and there will be famines and troubles. These are the beginnings of sorrows."
Yes, these are the days when we hear of more and more persecutions, earthquakes, wars and more troubled things happening. These are the beginnings of sorrow. But Jesus said, "do not be troubled, for such things must happen." In the midst of these troubled situations God wants us to live in peace. I know that it is hard time for many families as they lost their loved ones, it is devastating, it is heart breaking and it is painful but there is a God who wants to fill your heart with His divine peace. His name is Jesus. No matter what you are going through today, He can heal your broken heart. He can wipe away all your tears. No matter your high dreams like world trade center may be crushing down and you may be thinking, "it is over". But carpenter of Nazareth can build your broken dreams again. He can wipe away all your tears and can give you peace that passes all understanding. Look to Him, He is ready to wipe away all your tears.
Not only that it is time for Christians to fall on their knees and to pray for the world so that we could stand against the enemy and against the works of the devil so that we are protected from the terror of enemies. It is the work of the devil who comes to kill, destroy and steal but Jesus came to give us life - abundant life, a life full of peace, joy and happiness.
Our heartfelt sympathy and condolences goes to the bereaved families. It is our prayer that God may heal their broken hearts and wipe away all their tears and fill their hearts with His peace that the world can not give.

Isaiah 53:5, "But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed."
By His stripes we are healed. Not only USA but the whole world is facing the crisis as the entire world is affected by this catastrophe. People are troubled, faces dimmed in fear. Many are totally broken and do not know what to do? Many lost their loved ones, children became orphans and many lost their hope for any better future. But on the other side the Bible says in Isaiah 61:1, "The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, Because the LORD has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;"
Yes, this is the prophecy spoken off by Isaiah about Messiah who came to heal our broken hearts and to take away the pain and sufferings of our lives. He was broken, tortured, He shed His precious blood and He finally died on the cruel cross for you and for me so that we may be delivered. So that we may get healing of our broken hearts. So that we may get solace and peace at times of troubles and distress. Yes, Jesus came down for us to give us peace. He paid the price for our peace. He is the prince of peace. He can give us the peace that the world can not give.
Are you broken hearted today? Are you desperate and without peace today? Are you crying today? Jesus came to preach the good tidings. He came down to give the oil of joy and to wipe away all your tears from your eyes. My friend, you need not to cry anymore, you need not to be in peaceless situation anymore. You need not to be in broken state anymore because someone has already paid the price for your peace. Someone already took all your pain, sorrow, tears and brokenness on the cruel cross and died on behalf of you. But the story does not end there. On the third day, He rose again from the dead and is alive forevermore. His name is Jesus. He can help you today! No matter what you are going through look to Jesus and ask Him to come into your life. When He will come in He will change everything. He will give you peace, joy and happiness that this world can not give.
