Exodus 15:26, and said, "If you diligently heed the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the LORD who heals you."
Bible tells us about the God who heals us. Let us look what type of healing God wants to give us in our lives.
1. Spiritual healing:
Bible tells us about the incurable disease in our hearts as we read in Jeremiah 17:9 "The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it?" Bible also tells us how we got this wicked heart or incurable disease in our lives. When we read Genesis first two chapters of the Bible we read about the beautiful creation of universe. God created everything perfect and good. But when we come to the third chapter of the Bible we see a totally distorted look of first two chapters. Adam and Eve disobeyed God and fell in sin. By disobeying God they lost every good things they had in their lives. They lost the fellowship of God. Curse, pain, sorrow, tears and death came in this world.
But God always wanted to heal and restore our lives. He gave the Laws to Moses in which they used to sacrifice unblemished animal and shed blood of animal on the altar of God for the remission of their sins. But it was not a permanent solution for the remission of our sins so God sent His only begotten Son to die on the cruel cross and shed His precious blood so that our sins must be forgiven. Today His blood is available for us. If you confess your sins and invite Jesus in your life, He will come in and wash away all your sins and will give you a new life.
2. Physical healing:
Not only Jesus gave His life for the remission of our sins but also for complete deliverance from all our sicknesses and diseases. Bible says in Isaiah 53:5, "But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed."
Yes, before He went to the cross, He went through terrible agony of physical sufferings. Why? To deliver us from all our sicknesses, all our pain and all our physical infirmities. If you are going through terrible sicknesses today, Jesus can heal you completely. His healing power did not cease but it is same as it was 2000 years back.
3. Mental and Emotional healing:
Jesus who is the prince of peace wants to heal your broken heart and contrite spirit. He was chastised for our peace. He took this hard path to undo the sins of Adam and Eve and to remove every burden of our souls. If you are going through mental agony, look to Jesus, He can give you peace - the peace that passes all understanding.

He is able to set my feet upon a rock,

Urgent Prayer Request
My dad is improving everyday. Thank you for your prayers. He is still in the hospital. Doctors say that it was a mild stroke. His left side of the face is partially paralyzed. Please continue to keep him in your prayers for his full and speedy recovery. Thanks

Dear Brothers & Sisters in Christ, I was touched by your e-mail of 8th Nov. 2001 "Fear not for God is with us". Actually, I am loosing hope to solve some financial difficulties but because of my faith in Him, still I'm hoping something will come out right. My husband and me are doing our best to do something to get out of debts but it seems still very difficult to cope with and what makes it so hard for us is the people couldn't understand our situation and threatening us and speaking to us which hurts us so much, you know, but only God knows how hard we are trying our best to meet all our obligations but seems still difficult for us until this time.
Thank you so much and more power to you all and more blessings will come upon us all.

Eleventh Bishop in Madhya Kerala Diocese
The Very Rev. Kanjirappallil Walel Thomas Samuel has been consecrated as Bishop in the CSI Madhya Kerala Diocese. Consecration and Installation service conducted by Moderator Rt. Rev. KJ Samuel at the Holy Trinity Cathedral church in Kottayam.
Rev. T.O. Oommen - Clergy Secretary
Rev. T.O. Oommen has appointed as the Clergy secretary in CSI Madhya Kerala Diocese. Achen has worked as the Treasurer of the Diocese.
Rev. Itty Abraham died in bike accident:
Rev. Itty Abraham (Joji - 26) vicar of CSI Church Pallithode, Erutty, Ambalavayal, Wayanad died in motor bike accident at Choondel Padam (near Kunnamkulam). His bike collided with a private bus and Achen died on the spot. Achen is the son of Rev.P.I Job, Pulikottil,Kunnamkulam.
