Psalms 122:6-7, Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: May they prosper who love you. Peace be within your walls, Prosperity within your palaces."
Today violence has up-risen in Middle East and other parts of the world violently. Many people are killing in the name of religion. But God wants to give us peace and prosperity in our lives that was the reason why the Bible says that pray for the peace of Jerusalem. And the second reason of this situation is because people have rejected the Prince of Peace who can give peace in our lives and in our countries. Jesus said in John 16:2-3, "They will put you out of the synagogues; yes, the time is coming that whoever kills you will think that he offers God service. And these things they will do to you because they have not known the Father nor Me."
That's what is happening today. People are thinking that they are pleasing God by killing others but of course they are totally mistaken because they do not know the Father nor Jesus. They have rejected the almighty God by their wickedness. They have filled the land with violence. Why? The reason is very simple they do not know the God of peace.
John 1:10-11, "He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him."
As long as the world will reject the Prince of Peace we will see these kinds of terrorism and turmoil.
But what is the fate of those who kill others? God said in Genesis 9:6, "Whoever sheds man's blood, By man his blood shall be shed; For in the image of God He made man."
Of course God cannot tolerate the destruction of His creation. He is a Just God. What you do, you will get back in your life. What you sow you will reap one day. But there is escape from judgment and punishment of God by the blood of Jesus. Bible says in John 1:12-13, "But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God."
What you will prefer today? Violence or peace? Choice is yours. If you want peace in your life, if you want peace in your country, look to Jesus and ask Him to come into your life and your country. When Jesus will come in He will change everything.
Why Bible Prohibits Eating Few Things?

Leviticus 11:7, 'and the swine, though it divides the hoof, having cloven hooves, yet does not chew the cud, is unclean to you.
God gave laws to Moses in which He prohibited few things not to eat. What was the reason of it? Pig or swine lives in filth and eats filth. Because he lives in filth and eats filth his body contains worms. If half cooked meat was eaten it can be very dangerous or life threatening. Tapeworm and other worms can be transmitted through pork flesh to human body. His body contains poison in the shape of trichina or pork worms which gradually destroy humans. These worms starts breeding in the walls of the stomach and intestine. It spreads to spine and brain and there is no cure for it.
Bible says in Leviticus 11:9-11, 'These you may eat of all that are in the water: whatever in the water has fins and scales, whether in the seas or in the rivers; that you may eat. But all in the seas or in the rivers that do not have fins and scales, all that move in the water or any living thing which is in the water, they are an abomination to you. They shall be an abomination to you; you shall not eat their flesh, but you shall regard their carcasses as an abomination.
Finfish's cholesterol level is quite low. Finfish are good for health. Our body need nine amino acids which our body does not produce so we need it from foods. Finfish have all the nine amino acids and the best part is the its protein is highly digestible. Not only that finfish are low in fat, less than 5%, and, in many cases, less than 1% fat. While the cholesterol in shrimp varies considerably by specie, it generally is 1-1/2 to 2 times higher than in the dark meat of chicken.
Isn't it amazing that Moses who might have never studied biology, medical science etc. wrote in detail what is prohibited and what is not!
But those who followed these laws they were so cautious about their religious duties that they forgot that there is a God and we must give first place to God not to the rituals. They followed the rules very minutely but could not follow God or walk in the holy ways of God. Jesus said to them in Matthew 15:17-20, "Do you not yet understand that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and is eliminated? But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. These are the things which defile a man, but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile a man."
And our evil thoughts and evil deeds can only be eliminated by the blood of Jesus which was shed on the cruel cross.

My daughter had high fever from last 6 days. After prayer her fever left her. She is recovering, even though she does not have the fever, she is still suffering from cold. Please pray for her.

Annual Family and Youth Conference
XVI Annual CSI Family and Youth Conference, Hosted by Emmanuel CSI Church, Philadelphia
Friends,
This years Family and Youth Conference will be held at the Pocono Manor Inn, Pocono Manor PA 18349, from July 4th - 7th.
The Moderator Most Rev. Dr KJ Samuel will preside. The new Bishop of Central Kerala Diocese Rt Rev. Thomas Samuel will also be a leader. The main speaker is Rev Valson Thampu of St Stephen's College Delhi a well known author and preacher of Maramon Convention fame. Pastor Robbie Sortino and Scott Armstrong will lead the Youth sessions. Many dignitaries and officers of the CSI are also expected to attend.
The program will be mostly interactive and there will be a special revival meeting on Saturday night. There will be a Talent show on Friday night. The program will allow for plenty of time to socialize or to go sight seeing.
The venue is panoramic, scenic and relaxing. The accommodation is comfortable and the cuisine tasteful. The room availability now is limited as we have been receiving good response to our early registration drive. Registrations will close on April 14th due to limited space at the hotel.
