Today in this world we see that so many things are destroying young men and young women. Abcnews.com reported about the increasing use of Ecstasy drug among teens resulting in drunk driving and death of teens. I am quoting news report here.
Feb. 11 — Calling it the "rave generation's cocaine," a nonprofit antidrug group is putting out a stern warning about Ecstasy, an increasingly popular drug that is being embraced by more and more teens.
The number of teens using Ecstasy has jumped 20 percent since last year, and 71 percent since 1999, with an estimated 2.8 million teens at least trying the drug once, according to a PDFA study released today on Good Morning America. Starting today, the nonprofit coalition is launching a series of public service announcements warning of the dangers of Ecstasy.
March 28 — It's every parent's nightmare: teenagers behind the wheel.
And they're right to worry: Statistics show that 16-year-olds are three times more likely to have an accident than 18- or 19-year-olds, and eight times as likely as 25-year-olds. A young driver is involved in a fatal crash every 62 minutes, and car accidents are the leading cause of death for 15- to 20-year-olds. In 2000, 3,594 drivers in that age group were killed in crashes.
Palestine young men and women are exploding to kill themselves and others. Why all these things are happening? Because devil knows that very less time is left for him. He is trying to destroy young generation and trying to destroy the future of a nation. But Jesus rose from the dead by defeating death. Jesus' triumphant resurrection brings hope for dying generation. Jesus said in John 10:10 "The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly."
Jesus came to give abundant life. He wants to pull you out of darkness and despair. He wants to remove every misery and pain from your life and wants to give eternal life - a life full of peace, joy and happiness. God has not saved you to sit and see people dying and going to hell fire. Once a person told, "it is my vision to build cemetery where we can be after death. But God has not called you to build cemetery where you will send dead people but God has called you to turn cemeteries a living place. God has called you to bring those dead and lifeless bodies to life. God has called you to show the way of life to young generation. How a person can simply sit and see young men and young women dying so early. Time has come to reach out and pull them out of these terrible things and death, no matter what it takes. If it is your vision to build cemetery then you need to rethink and change your vision.
If we want to win our young generation from death and destruction, there is no other way except the blood of Jesus and His triumphant resurrection brings new hope in our lives. If we want to save our young generation from early death there is no other life source except Jesus who gave His life for us so that we may live forever.
Israel - in the light of Bible

When you look in the Bible you will find that most of the incidences are revolving around Israelites or people of Israel. Most of the Bible characters were Israelites. Disciples of Lord Jesus Christ were Israelites. Lord Jesus Christ was born in Israel as a Jew.
Now let us see what Bible speaks about Israel. Why Bible gives such an importance to this tiny nation. Why Bible speaks about Jews with much emphasis than any other tribes or nations of the earth.
First of all story begins from Abraham. Bible speaks about him that he walked in the ways of God. He was called the friend of God. God spoke to him as a friend speaks to another friend. Abraham was called the father of faith. Because of his great faith on God, God blessed him.
Gen 12:2 I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing.
Gen 12:3 I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed."
God says to Abraham "I will make you a great nation, I will bless you and make your name great." This is the blessing which was given for Abraham and his descendents. Later his grand son Jacob was called Israel. God changed his name from Jacob to Israel. Gen 32:28, And He said, "Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel; for you have struggled with God and with men, and have prevailed."
All the blessings of Abraham is passed on to his generations. And those blessings are with Israel. God calls them as "My people." This word is spoken in Bible hundreds of times. In Exo 6:7, God says 'I will take you as My people, and I will be your God'. Indeed Israel is a blessed nation. Indeed they are God's chosen people. Blessings of Abraham is with them.
Let us see that what God speaks about Israel.
1. First Born:
Exo 4:22, "Then you shall say to Pharaoh, 'Thus says the LORD: "Israel is My son, My firstborn.
Num 3:13, "because all the firstborn are Mine. On the day that I struck all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, I sanctified to Myself all the firstborn in Israel, both man and beast. They shall be Mine: I am the LORD."
God says that Israel is my first born, Israel is mine. Has ever God called anybody or any other nation like this. No.
First born means heir of all the blessings, heir of double portion of the blessings of father. Sanctified for the Lord, Kept aside for the Lord. According to Bible First born has a birth right. They receive all the blessings from father. As we see in kingdom and kingship also. Firstborn son receives all the blessings and inheritance of father. According to law kingdom goes to firstborn son. When a king dies or leaves his place, his firstborn son receives that place. He becomes the heir of that throne or kingdom, because he is the lawful heir of that throne.
The same way Israel has a right to receive God's blessings and inheritance. Because God said "It is my chosen people, It is my firstborn." God said it nobody can change their position. No Satan can ever take that inheritance from them because almighty God has declared it. It is God who has chosen them as His own people as his firstborn. That's why all the blessings of God is with them. They are lawful heir of those blessings.
2. Blessed people:
Second thing Bible speaks about them that they are blessed people. What are those blessings? Let us look at the same verses again.
Gen 12:2, "I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing".
Gen 12:3, "I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed."
a.) I will make you a great nation.
When this blessing was pronounced on Abraham and his descendents, they did not have any nation. No body heard the name of Israel then. But this blessing was with them because God proclaimed it. It was their inheritance and it came into fulfillment. After Israel's fall almost for 2600 years till 1948 there was no nation by name Israel. But God who promised it He brought it to an existence. What a great God. He remembers His promises to thousand generations. Whatever He spoke He did it. In 1948 Israel become a nation.
b.) I will bless those who bless you and I will curse him who curses you. And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.
Second promise was given to Israel is "I will bless those who bless you. I will curse him who curses you." This blessing is with Israel. But many who call themselves Christians, they do not know it.
God's blessing is with Israel. Whoever will stand against it, will be destroyed. God said it and nobody can change it. You cannot stand against God and still survive. Think about it what is your position today about Israel (God's people).
Look at the life of Balaam a prophet. He stood against Israel. King Balak says to him "I will make you rich if you come and curse Israel." Balak calls Balaam to curse Israelites. He sends his people to call Balaam. In Num 22 we find Balaam is speaking to God. Num 22:10-12, "So Balaam said to God, "Balak the son of Zippor, king of Moab, has sent to me, saying," Num 22:11, 'Look, a people has come out of Egypt, and they cover the face of the earth. Come now, curse them for me; perhaps I shall be able to overpower them and drive them out.'" Num 22:12, "And God said to Balaam, "You shall not go with them; you shall not curse the people, for they are blessed."
Here God says very clearly to Balaam "do not curse them, for they are blessed." Blessings of Abraham is already with them, because they are God's people.
He tried to curse them for money but what happened? He could not curse them. Balaam says in: Num 23:8, "How shall I curse whom God has not cursed? And how shall I denounce whom the LORD has not denounced? Balaam tried to curse them but he could not. God did not allow it to happen. Now what was the end of Balaaam? He received the curse of God on his own life. He could not curse them but instead of it he received the curse of God. He lost everything even a place in heaven.
We must know very well that the above said blessings are always with Israel and no one can destroy the nation of Israel. No one can curse them and still survive.
3. Chosen people:
They are God's chosen people. From the foundations of the world God has chosen them, God has decreed it. No one can change that status.
Here God says about Israel:
Deu 7:6 "For you are a holy people to the LORD your God; the LORD your God has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples on the face of the earth.
God has chosen them that's why He blessed them. He brought them out of the bondage of the Egypt. He delivered them from the bitter slavery of Egypt. He made them a nation. It was God's promise for Israel that they will come out of the bondage of Egypt and will become a nation. Jer 30:3 'For behold, the days are coming,' says the LORD, 'that I will bring back from captivity My people Israel and Judah,' says the LORD. 'And I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it.'"
This promise also came true. God fulfilled each and every promise for Israel. Let us not forget that Israel is a blessed nation. God said "I will bless those who bless you." Let us not stand against God's people. Let us not receive curse from God. Let this be our prayer, let God bless Israel and bring peace in that land.

Dear Brothers & Sisters in Christ
I am facing lot of harassment in the office from my immediate superior. I think he is getting satisfaction by hurting others feeling and stabbing on others stomach. As I was not supporting him in this, he turned against me and started harassing me also and things are getting worse everyday. He never think about the pain he will get if somebody else do the same thing to him. Because of this man so many people lost their job and request everyone's prayer to resolve this problem. Annual Family and Youth Conference
XVI Annual CSI Family and Youth Conference, Hosted by Emmanuel CSI Church, Philadelphia
Friends,
This years Family and Youth Conference will be held at the Pocono Manor Inn, Pocono Manor PA 18349, from July 4th - 7th.
The Moderator Most Rev. Dr KJ Samuel will preside. The new Bishop of Central Kerala Diocese Rt Rev. Thomas Samuel will also be a leader. The main speaker is Rev Valson Thampu of St Stephen's College Delhi a well known author and preacher of Maramon Convention fame. Pastor Robbie Sortino and Scott Armstrong will lead the Youth sessions. Many dignitaries and officers of the CSI are also expected to attend.
The program will be mostly interactive and there will be a special revival meeting on Saturday night. There will be a Talent show on Friday night. The program will allow for plenty of time to socialize or to go sight seeing.
The venue is panoramic, scenic and relaxing. The accommodation is comfortable and the cuisine tasteful. The room availability now is limited as we have been receiving good response to our early registration drive. Registrations will close on April 14th due to limited space at the hotel.
